Tamo, also known as Japanese Quilted Brown Ash, is a highly sought-after veneer native to North Asia and Northeast Asia.The stunning pomelle figuring referred to as “Peanut Shell†displayed in variations of beige and brown tones gives the veneer whimsical depth and a grain unique to each leaf. This pattern is often produced when figured woods are rotary cut; Tamo being one of the most common examples of this.
